The Drop Method

My Answer:
I use something called The Drop Method. It’s a 3-step emotional triage system I created to help stop mental and emotional bleeding in real time. It’s not about toxic positivity—it’s about survival, clarity, and restoring your breath when everything’s on fire.

The Method:

  1. Drop the Anchor – Ground your body. Wiggle your toes. Touch something solid.
  2. Drop the Lies – Call out what’s actually true—not the fear spiral.
  3. Drop the Guilt – You’re allowed to pause. You’re allowed to feel. You’re allowed to rest.

It’s not therapy—but it’s the handrail you grab on your way to it.

    This is beautiful! This is the first time I’ve heard about the drop method, and it makes sense! I still find it hard to let go of the guilt, though. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life and hurt a lot of people, so sometimes I still feel like a bad person. But I’m trying to be better day by day.
