The Drop Method

"A simple system for mental and emotional resets."

Being your authentic self isn’t enough. You have to actually live as your authentic self.

A lot of people say “just be yourself” like it’s easy, but here’s the thing: you can be your most aunthentic self when your alone, in your thoughts, in your room, in your comfort zone. But in nobody ever sees that version of you so, does it even exist outside your own head?

I used to think being authentic just meant knowing who I was. But I’ve realized and learned that its also means showing up as that person, even in spaces where it feels uncomfortable, risky, or where people might not understand me. It means setting boundaries, speaking my truth, and not watering myself down to fit in.

And yes, sometimes it feels messy. Somethimes I overthink it or even “buffer” like my brain is lagging, but I’d rather be imperfectly myself in every moment than live as a polished version of someone else.

Because at the end of the day, that’s real auntheticity, not performance, but the courage to be myself, out loud, no matter who’s around.
