The Drop Method

🧶Well, I relax by crocheting. It gives my hands and my brain something other than my problems to focus on. I have ADHD so sitting still is just not an option for me unless I am doing something with my hands.

Crocheting helps me focus and gives me time to think and usually I solve a problem or two while I’m doing it or I come up with a great idea I hadn’t thought of, and I try to write it down.

It’s also a little dopamine bomb when I finish what I start. Whether it’s something I’m making for a gift or for myself I enjoy it. Every time I do it and look at my project and see how far I have come I feel like I have accomplished something. 🧶
