The Drop Method

"A simple system for mental and emotional resets."

I originally created the Drop Method for myself, and later taught it to my son, who struggles with ADHD and depression. He’s been using it for about four years now, alongside therapy, stable medication, and a supplement regimen. He’s more grounded now than he’s ever been.

We’re still working on impulse control, but it’s more manageable. He’s more focused, better able to communicate with friends and family, and has gone from being someone who couldn’t stay in a conversation—because the words wouldn’t come out fast enough—to someone who now talks with strangers and holds full conversations with people he loves. There are still little “glitches,” as he calls them, but it’s nothing like it used to be.

I’ve watched my son grow into a loving, beautiful human being. And I know the Drop Method helped. He’s told me many times it brings him back whenever he’s spiraling.

This site isn’t just here to teach people how to use the Drop Method. It’s also here to remind you:
